The Rivers State Government has criticised an alleged verbal attack on its State Governor, Mr. Nyesom Wike, by a former member of Federal House of Representatives, Mr. Ned Nwoko, following a suit filed by the Governors Forum stopping him (Nwoko) from demanding $418 million, Paris Club refund.
An explanation that was given yesterday by the Streams State Chief for Data and Correspondence, Mr. Chris Finebone, said that “the consideration of the Waterways State government has been attracted to rehashed burning boisterous ambushes on Gov. Nyesom Wike by a previous official and financial specialist, Mr. Ned Nwoko.
“To assist the individuals who might be adrift why Nwoko has left on his journey of outlandish assaults on Gov. Wike, it must be said that Ned Nwoko is faltering and bothering because of the unsettling and lawful activity by certain lead representatives, of which Gov. Wike was one, that successfully halted the endeavor to downy the federation of Nigerians as much as $418 million over the Paris Club discount to certain experts drove by Ned Nwoko.
“It would be reviewed that the Head legal officer of the League and Clergyman of Equity, Mr. Abubakar Malami, requested the Lead representative from the National Bank of Nigeria, Mr. Godwin Emefiele, to deliver $418 million to Linas Global Ltd, an organization possessed by Ned Nwoko, and different experts over the Paris Club discount adventure.
