The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) on Wednesday said its presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu is not mandated to sit for an interview in order to address issues raised by Nigerians on his plans for the country ahead of the 2023 general elections.
The Main Representative of the Tinubu-Shettima Official Mission Committee and Pastor of State, Work and Business Festus Keyamo (SAN) in a talk with Everyday Free said Tinubu is now resolving issues raised by Nigerians at meetings and social occasions.
A writer, Oseni Rufai one of the anchors of the “Emerge Morning Show” on Emerge News television had tweeted that having talked with other official competitors, for example, Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso and Omoyele Sowore, they enthusiastically anticipate Tinubu’s presence on the show.
We enthusiastically anticipate the APC official contender for a meeting on Arisetv, we have had Obi, Atiku, Kwankwaso, Sowore, and others. We will jump at the chance to hear his thoughts for Nigeria and talk about them!”.
When reached, Keyamo asked why a few Nigerians are focused on interviews when Tinubu is resolving issues raised at occasions and revitalizes.
As indicated by him, the main thing is for Tinubu to address Nigerians and he has been doing that.
“Asiwaju Tinubu has been talking at conventions and social events. Mainly, he is addressing Nigerians. What’s this obsession about plunking down in a meeting?”
“He is talking wherever he goes. Is it true or not that they are not seeing him? He is resolving issues. He is conversing with Nigerians wherever he goes” Keyamo said.
