Maigari of Lokoja, Alhaji (Dr) Muhammad Kabir Maikarfi III, is dead.
As per data from the royal residence, Maigari who is the director of the Lokoja customary committee, passed on at 80 on Wednesday night, September 28, after a short sickness at a confidential emergency clinic in Abuja.
An assertion gave on Wednesday night by the Secretary of Lokoja Nearby Government Customary Chamber, Muhammed Nalado Usman, said the ruler will be covered in Lokoja on Thursday, September 29, by 3 pm.
Until his demise, the ruler is said to have been one of the longest-serving conventional rulers in Kogi State, having climbed the privileged position in 1992.
