Governor Ayade Locks Out Civil Servants Over Lateness

The Cross River State Governor, Ben Ayade, on Wednesday morning, locked out government employees working in the Government House, Calabar for arriving behind schedule to work.

The lead representative, who was in the workplace before 8am, requested the Chief Security Officer to lock the entryway and not permit any one coming after 8am to enter the premises.

As of the hour of documenting this report, a few specialists who were locked out, were seen staying nearby the entry door of the state Government House while others moved towards Chieftaincy Affairs office.
